It’s great for young girls

This gift set is perfect for little girls. I purchased three of these for ages 5, 3, and 1. They all enjoy the set. One loves the realistic, looking cosmetics. One loves the realistic, looking money, and the other just enjoys having a realistic purse her size filled with goodies. 10/10 would recommend.

Good.

Love these. Only downside is they are technically 2 packs of 50s. Meaning there are repeats. I guess its fine...and maybe I just didnt read tbag somewhere, but overall cute. I write a personal note on the back for my 3rd grader who is struggling right now. Gives her some pep back.

Giant Easter Egg SCORE!

These were such a fun find! Although I wish they were like 1 inch bigger, they were so such great additions to Easter! We didn't do a traditional Easter egg hunt, as they all just got a few of these each! Filled with coloring books, stuffed animals, toys, candy, face masks, etc!

Before you pack

Three short reads from our packing table.

People also ask us

The four questions that come up at every packing table.

What party favors do kids actually like?

Things that do something. In our own range the fastest movers are bubble wands, squeeze balls, glow sticks and anything that lights up. A favor a child can use in the first minute beats a prettier one that needs explaining.

What can I hand out instead of candy?

Small toys and school supplies. For a classroom we would pick valentine cards with a toy attached, mini bubble wands or jumbo pens; for a porch on Halloween, glow-in-the-dark bouncy balls or prefilled cauldrons. All of them are food-free.

Where do I buy party favors in bulk?

Every Shemira set is sold through our listing at our partner store, and each page here has a button that opens it. Our bulk counts run from a dozen wands to five hundred, and from 12 filled eggs to a carton of 3,000 empty ones.

How many favors should I buy?

Count the children, then add two. One covers the teacher or the host's own child, the other covers the guest nobody mentioned. Our boxes are sized so the next count up is never far away.

Choosing Shemira valentine cards, party favors and pretend play sets: a buyer's guide

We wrote this the way we would explain it across the packing table. It covers the questions parents and teachers put to us most often about Shemira toys, valentine cards for kids and bulk party favors.

How many valentines do I need for a class?

Take the class list and add two: one card for the teacher and one for a late arrival. Then choose the first box that covers that number. Our Shemira Valentine's Day cards for kids come in boxes of 24, 28, 30, 32 and 36, and every card in the box has its own toy, so nobody compares and comes up short.

What is inside a Shemira valentine box?

A printed card for each child with a To and From line, and a small toy that slots into it. Depending on the set that toy is a glow stick, a squeeze ball, a slingshot dinosaur, a die-cast racing car, a tub of heart-shaped slime, a fidget spinner or a pen. There are no envelopes and no candy.

Which sets suit a school with a no-candy rule?

All of our classroom hand-outs. Valentine exchange cards, Halloween party favors such as prefilled witch cauldrons and glow-in-the-dark bouncy balls, bubble wands and our filled Easter eggs contain toys or stationery, never food. That also makes them an easy choice for classes with allergy plans.

What ages are the toys for?

Most small hand-outs are for ages 3 and up because of small parts. For preschool we suggest the softer pieces: plush bears, foam sport balls and squeeze balls. Pretend play is marked by set: the play purse and cutting play food are for about 3 to 8, the elephant basketball hoop for 1 to 3, and nail polish kits with a dryer for 7 to 12.

When should I order for a holiday?

Earlier than feels necessary. Classroom valentines are usually handed out on or just before February 14, Halloween favors in the last week of October and egg hunts on the weekend before Easter. The popular counts are the first to sell through, so we suggest choosing two to three weeks ahead. The delivery date for your address is shown on our listing at the partner store.

Why do the same sets come in so many sizes?

Because a birthday party, a classroom and a school fair are three different numbers. Shemira bubble wands run from 12 to 500 pieces, Halloween cauldrons from 32 to 72, colored pencils from 144 to 1,200. The price per piece drops as the count goes up, which we show on each product card where it applies.
